This Express Water Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System is one of the best reverse osmosis systems we highly recommend. It will help you get the purest drinking water in your home without buying bottled water anymore. And you can use the filtered water for cooking, drinking, ice and coffee, improving the taste. This is because this system is able to remove up to 99.99 of different contaminants in our water, like Asbestos, Calcite, Chlorine, Cyanide, Fluoride, Giardia, Lead, Radium, Heavy Metal, Bacteria, Viruses, Pharmaceuticals, and other 100+contaminants. With this system, you can always have clean water to consume.
And it is easy to install, because of its Quick Connect tubing system. Anyone with basic DIY skills can install it with ease. You don’t need to hire a plumber to do the job. Its compact design makes it easy to install under the counter in a cabinet.
It also comes with a faucet and a 4-stage water storage tank. And this system is certified by an independent laboratory to meet NSF standard 58.
Water Filter Design
This system is a 5-stage filter. These stages include:
Stage 1 – A sediment filter that can filter out dust, dirt, rust and sand. It removes large visible sediment, which helps to protect the following filters in the following stages.
Stage 2, 3 – Carbon Block and Granular Carbon Filters. They can remove chlorine, VOCs and other odor causing compounds. So, these 2 types of filters improve the smell and taste.
Stage 4 – The RO membrane. The first 3 stage filters extend the life of the 4th stage. The RO membrane is the key filtration stage, when it comes to a RO system. In this stage, the RO membrane can remove many contaminants that other types of filters in the first 3 stages cannot remove, like arsenic, chromium, lead, radium, TDS and other contaminants.
State 5 – The post activated carbon filter. It is a final filter for a RO system. When the faucet is opened, this filter will finally polish the RO water from the storage tank to remove any possible smell and odor.
Therefore, water is purified by these 5 different stage filters, making it pure enough and much purer than bottled water.
Well, this system works on 40-80 PSI. If water pressure is too low, there will be a lot of waste water produced to flush the membrane. If water pressure is too high, it will shorten the filters’ life. Therefore, both water pressure and incoming water quality influence its water efficiency. Generally, when it produces 1 gallon of pure water, it also produces another 1 to 3 gallon of waste water. Well, the manufacturer doesn’t specify the efficiency clearly. And from the customer reviews, the ratio of filtered water to waste water is 1:2, which is a good result, beyond an average level.
Ease of Installation
This system claims it is very to install. And if you hire someone to install it, it is just a waste of money. Actually, you don’t have to. This is because this system is designed to be simple and easy to install. And it has preassembled more 50% parts than other systems. This means you only need to connect it to your water pipe and fix it under the counter in a cabinet. That’s all you need to do. And its simple quick connect system is labeled and color coordinated, so it is very easy to follow.
The only problem is that you may need to drill a hole in the sink. However, in most situations, there is a black hole, so you don’t have to. If there is not a hole, you may need to hire someone to drill it for you.

As one of the most popular reverse osmosis system, we listed on our list of the best reverse osmosis systems, because of ease of use, ease of installation and abilities to offer the purest water. And it is also not expensive. Therefore, even if it has a shorter filters’ life, it will not be a big problem. As a 5-stage RO system, it does its best. Of course, for those who need a remineralization or UV filter, this system is not a good choice. And you can choose Home Master TMHP HydroPerfection Undersink Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System instead. Of course, you need to pay more to get those features.
